Thursday's Indians, Clippers Game Suspended

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Thursday evening's International League contest between the Indianapolis Indians and Columbus Clippers was suspended in the bottom of the third because of heavy rain in central Ohio. There was no score when play was interrupted.

The game will be completed as part of a doubleheader at Cooper Stadium on Friday, June 29. The first game will be completed as a nine-inning contest. The second game will be a seven-inning affair. The twinbill is slated to begin at 5:35 p.m. EDT.

Indianapolis will wrap up its eight-game road trip on Friday. Indians RHP Marty McLeary and Clippers RHP Joel Hanrahan are the probables for the nightcap, which will begin approximately 20 minutes after game one.

The games will be carried by ESPN-950 AM and IndyIndians.com with Howard Kellman and Scott McCauley. The pre-game show begins at 5:15 p.m.
