Quotes

"We're going to have to. We haven't had much to build off of lately so we have to take the positives out of those 20 minutes, but we have to bring that effort from the start of the game." - Tyler Shattock on taking positives from the final period.

"As much as you can, but when you lose as many as we have in a row there's going to be some mad people in there. If you're not mad I don't think we should be in that dressing room but we have to turn this thing around." - Shattock on staying positive in the locker room during this losing streak.

"We have to take some confidence out of that last period. We scored 4 goals against a good team in Colorado. Next Saturday against Utah I think we're going to come into the game with more confidence and have a better start." - Vinny Scarsella on his perspective on the last period.

"[Tyler Shattock] made a nice play on the boards and Jack [MacLellan] make a really nice play along the wall walking the defenseman and then made a great pass to me and I did the easy part. Those guys made the nice plays on that one and I was fortunate to be at the end of it." - Scarsella on his first ever goal in a Thunder uniform.

"I'm just trying to stick up for teammates. I saw Jack go in there and he's one of our highly skilled players. I have to try and defend those players as much as I can. It might have changed the momentum a little bit but I'm just doing my job." - Garet Hunt on his third period fight.

"It's another positive to take from something. It's a learning experience. We have outplayed both Colorado and Idaho in the past so we have to go into games with those guys with confidence." - Head Coach Rich Kromm with his take on the third period.

"They had a couple lucky bounces in the first so there isn't much we can do about that. We had to still play with some poise and go after them. We wanted to be sure that those bounces didn't effect our psyche and stick with our game plan." - Coach Kromm on how his team managed to get over the three-goal first period of Colorado.

"We were together as a five-man unit in the third and we were getting to pucks before them for a change. Our defense were getting shots through and we had a great forecheck on their defense. It was a great period for us as a team but we have to put it together for a full 60 minutes." - Coach Kromm on how his team played well as a unit during the final period.
