Thunder Shut Out by Colorado

Stockton, Calif - The Stockton Thunder played extremely tough, but ran into a tougher goaltender and were shutout for the third time this season as the Colorado Eagles defeat the Thunder 3-0 Saturday night at Stockton Arena. Colorado goaltender Clarke Saunders stopped all 25 shots the Thunder targeted his way and stifled the anxious Stockton crowd waiting to toss their teddy bears in the 10th Annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Fans were able to launch their teddy bears onto the ice surface after the game, but it was less exciting after a difficult loss. The Thunder have one more chance to defeat the Eagles in Stockton Sunday evening as the two teams faceoff for the final time in the current three-in-three.
