ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Sunday that Toledo's Cody Lampl has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions at ECHL Game #408, Allen at Toledo, on Jan. 24.
Lampl is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of an illegal check to he head of an opponent at 17:21 of the second period.
Lampl will miss Toledo's game against Wheeling today (Jan. 25).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
