
Thunderbirds Sign F Horton to PTO

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Springfield Thunderbirds announced today that they have signed forward Jake Horton to a PTO contract.
Horton, 23, completed his collegiate career as a captain at Harvard University. In four seasons with the Crimson, Horton tallied 42 points (17g, 25a) and captured two ECAC championships.
Horton made his pro debut by skating with the Manchester Monarchs in a game against the Adirondack Thunder on Saturday.
The Thunderbirds conclude a season-long five-game road trip on Wednesday night as they take on the Hartford Wolf Pack inside the XL Center at 7:00 p.m. ET.
