
Thunderbirds Bring Back Hubbard

Rio Rancho, NM - The New Mexico Thunderbirds have announced they have signed forward Marcus Hubbard (6-9, 235, Angelo State) and waived forward Idong Ibok due to injury.
Hubbard played 21 games for the Thunderbirds during the 2009-10 season and averaged 7.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
He began this season with the Austin Toros and averaged 7.6 points and 6.1 rebounds in seven games while shooting 44% from the floor.
Hubbard played college basketball at Angelo State from 2006-08. During the 2006-07 season he averaged 21.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. He was a two-time All-Lone Conference First Team selection.
Hubbard's first game with the Thunderbirds will be this afternoon when they take on the Texas Legends at 4 p.m. MT.
