
Big Second Half Lifts Reno to 107-85 Win over Idaho

RENO, Nev.- Coming out of intermission with the game knotted at 44, the Reno Bighorns outscored the Idaho Stampede by 22 points in the second half Saturday night, en route to 107-85 victory in the Reno Events Center.
The Bighorns (10-5) scored 32 points in the third period to take a lead that was never seriously threatened. The win pushes Reno to 8-1 on its home floor this season, the top home mark in the NBA Development League.
DJ Strawberry provided a spark off the bench for the 'Horns on Saturday, pouring in 21 points and six assists. Strawberry knocked-down 7-of-12 shots from the floor and finished 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
A balanced Bighorns scoring attack included 16 points from Jeremy Lin, playing in his third game with Reno since being assigned by the Golden State Warriors. In 29 minutes of action, Lin's backcourt mate Aaron Miles registered 12 points, seven boards and nine assists. Marcus Landry hit four three-pointers on his way to 13 points.
Idaho (2-13) was paced by a 19-point effort from Seth Tarver. Cedric Jackson scored 11 points with eight assists and four steals, and Antoine Walker chipped-in 16 with four boards and four assists.
Reno and Idaho will lock horns again on Sunday afternoon in the back end of a weekend series. Tip-time is set for 3 p.m. in the Reno Events Center. Tickets are on-sale now.
