LAST WEEK'S GAMES -
Wednesday, November 6th
Wichita at Tulsa, 4-0 L
-Tulsa broke open a tight game scoring three goals in the third period en route to a 4-0 win on Wednesday night. It was the first time this season Wichita failed to record a goal and was held to just 17 shots on net, which tied a season-low.
Friday, November 8th
Wichita at Missouri, 4-1 L
-Jared Walker tipped home a Jon Booras shot in the second period to tie the game at one after Missouri scored a few minutes before. The Mavericks scored the next three including two more in the third to pull away for the victory and a 1-0 lead in the Independence Cup Series.
Saturday, November 9th
Missouri at Wichita, 3-0 L
-The Mavericks took a 2-0 series lead in the Independence Cup, scoring one in the second period and adding two more in the final 20 minutes. It was the second time in the last three games the Thunder had been shut out.

100 - With 10 more goals, Matt Robinson will become just the fifth player in team history to record 100 goals in a Thunder uniform and only needs five more to move into fifth place past Mark Karpen. The South Surrey, BC native announced his retirement before the season.
REGAINING HOME-ICE - Historically, Wichita has been one of the best teams in the league at home. INTRUST Bank Arena has not been kind to the Thunder yet this season, still looking for its first win (0- 4-1 ). Over the last two seasons, Wichita has won 49 games on home-ice.
CLOSE CALL - Wichita has played in a ton of close games so far this season. In fact, the only other team in the league that has played in as many one-goal games as Wichita is Allen, which is eight (6-1-1). The Thunder is 1-3-3 in games decided by a goal.
95 - Andrew Martens had an assist over the weekend against the Mavericks. The Calgary, AB native needs five more assists to register 100 in a Thunder uniform. Martens is in his ninth pro season, fourth in Wichita and has 127 career points in Thunder Blue. He is also approaching 300 points for his career as he sits at 278 (59g, 219a).
225 - Travis Wight is approaching Jason Duda's franchise record for most consecutive games played at 225 (March 3rd, 2000-November 18th, 2003). Wight, who claimed the CHL Man of the Year last season, is currently at 209.

The Thunder travel to Tulsa on Tuesday for the first of three-straight games against the Oilers. Wichita trails 1-0 in the StoneWolf Casino Cup Series. The two teams will play a pair of games on Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th at INTRUST Bank Arena. Friday is Veteran's Night presented by Metro Flooring and Design. All military personnel get a free ticket with a valid ID and their families will get tickets for just $5. Saturday is Guy's Night Out, presented by Hajoca.
