STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League, and head coach Matt Thomas announced the team has signed right wing Maxime Boisclair (BWAH-clair, Max-EEM). Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boisclair, 27, is scheduled to make his debut in a Thunder jersey tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. (1280 AM KWSX/StocktonThunder.com) against the Utah Grizzlies at Stockton Arena.

"Maxime is a proven offensive threat that is a welcomed addition to our lineup," said Thomas. We're expecting him to be a solid contributor, night in and night out."

The 6-foot-2 and 209 pound forward has collected 87 points (27g-60a) in 100 career ECHL games with Johnstown, Elmira, Charlotte and Ontario. Boisclair hails from Drummondville, Quebec and skated in Kazakhstan for Arlan Kokshetau this season. He was the club's leading scorer with 49 points (19g-30a) in 35 games before his departure.

He split last season between Evansville of the Central Hockey League with three points in six games and added 34 points in 26 games in France with Epinal.
