1. Wichita Thunder - CHL
LAST WEEK: 3
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about the Thunder is the Calgary Flames. Just like that club the Thunder have one dangerous line, a trade-acquired hot young goaltender and the rest of the roster buys into coach Derek Laxdal's program.

The Thunder continue their six-game road trip tonight at 7:05 p.m. versus the Topeka Tarantulas, before playing a pair of games at the Colorado Eagles on Friday and Saturday night. At 5-0-0, the Thunder are now the only undefeated team in the CHL on the road. Dating back to last year, the Thunder have won their last six regular season road games, tying a franchise-record.

The Thunder will finally return home on Saturday, December 4th to host the Amarillo Gorillas. Former WWE three-time World Champion Mick Foley "aka Mankind" will be on hand to sign autographs.

Corporate packages and season tickets for the 2004-05 campaign are also still on sale. To order your tickets or for more information, call the Thunder office at 264-GOAL or visit our website at www.wichitathunder.com.
