12/07/2016 11:02 AM - Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have made three roster moves. The Thunder have acquired goaltender J.P. Anderson, 24, was acquired in a trade with the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations. The 6-4 netminder is currently in his fourth professional season, his first with Wheeling. Anderson has amassed a 4-1-1 in six games this season, where he has posted a 2.16 goals against average and a .927 save percentage. In his professional career, Anderson has appeared in 16 games in the American Hockey League with the Worcester Sharks and 41 games in the ECHL, split between Wheeling, Allen, Ontario and San Francisco.
Riley, 24, returns to Adirondack for his third stint with the team. The Massena, NY native has spent the majority of the 2016-17 season with the SPHL's Peoria Rivermen, where he has collected two points (0-2-2) and a +6 rating in eight games with the team.
McCollum, 27, appeared in three games with Adirondack over the past five days on loan from Stockton. The 6-2 netminder recorded a 1-1-1 record, including his first Thunder win in a 5-1 victory on Friday against the Colorado Eagles. The Amherst, NY native amassed a 3.36 goals against average and a .875 save percentage in his time with the Thunder. McCollum has appeared in one AHL game this season with the Heat and has played in three NHL contests with the Detroit Red Wings throughout his professional career.
The Thunder conclude their seven-game homestand on Saturday evening as they square off with the Norfolk Admirals, with puck drop slated for 7:00 p.m at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
