
Thunder Make Roster Moves

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames, announced today that they have signed forward Cam Brown to a standard player contract and defenseman Ben Masella to an ATO. Additionally, the team has released forward Chris Porter from his standard player contract.
Brown, 23, joins the Thunder off of a four-season career at the University of Maine where he served as team captain during the 2016-17 season. Brown netted 39 points (4-35-39) in his senior season with his 35 assists leading his team and ranking tied for fifth in the NCAA. Brown finished his career with the Black Bears with 106 career points (23-83-106) in 146 career games.
Masella, 24, comes to the Thunder from St. Lawrence University where he completed four seasons as a member of the Saints. Masella appeared in 37 games as a senior, where he was an alternate captain, and he collected eight points (1-7-8). Over his St. Lawrence career, Masella collected a total of 24 points (4-20-24) and a +14 rating in 99 career games. Masella becomes the third St. Lawrence alum on the Thunder roster, joining forward Gunnar Hughes and Brian Ward.
The Thunder are back in action this weekend with a three-in-three set at home, beginning on Friday and Saturday evening against the Wheeling Nailers.
