Thunder Game Postponed

Trenton Thunder News Release


(Trenton, NJ) - Friday night's game between the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, and New Britain Rock Cats (affiliate of the Minnesota Twins) was postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting at 5:05 PM on Saturday. Both will be a seven inning games.

Fans with tickets to Friday's game may exchange them for tickets of equal or lesser value to another 2009 Thunder regular season home game OR a game in April 2010, subject to availability. Ticket stubs may be presented in person at the Thunder Ticket Office at Waterfront Park starting at 9:30 AM on Sunday, August 29.

On Saturday, Waterfront Park gates will open for season ticket holders at 3:30 PM and at 4:05 PM for the general public. Friday night's giveaway of NJEA Back to School Spiral Notebooks will continue for children ages 5-15. There will be fireworks after the second game of the doubleheader. Al Santasiere of the NY Yankees will be returning to Waterfront Park to sell and sign copies of his book, "The Final Season: The Official Retrospective" on the main concourse.
