New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, today announced that, due to the potential weather complications caused by Tropical Storm Danny, the doubleheader scheduled between the Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs on Saturday, August 29, has been switched to one game with a 7:05pm start time at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. The Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs are now slated to play a single-admission doubleheader on Sunday, August 30, with the first of two seven-inning games beginning at 4:05pm. Fans holding tickets for Saturday will be able to use them for the 7:05pm game on Saturday; fans holding tickets for Sunday can use them for both games of the doubleheader.

"You never know with Mother Nature, but since Sunday's weather outlook is a lot more promising for playing two games than Saturday, we felt it was best to switch the doubleheader to Sunday," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "With only three home dates left this season, we all determined this was our best chance of playing all the games."

On Saturday, gates will open for Season Ticket Holders at 5:30pm and for the general public at 6:00pm. On Sunday, gates will open at 1:00pm for Season Ticket Holders and at 1:30pm for the general public. An Atlas Fireworks Show follows Saturday night's game and Sunday night's doubleheader.

The Fisher Cats and Sea Dogs open up their five-game series tonight with a 7:05pm game at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. The first 1,000 kids in attendance will receive a free Fisher Cats Lunch Bag, courtesy of Benjamin Moore Paints.

The Fisher Cats will still make every effort to play Saturday night's 7:05pm game on time. For tickets and more information, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.
