Thunder Explodes Past Tulsa

Park City, KS- Veterans Travis Clayton and Jason Duda both reached another milestone with a goal and an assist each, as the Thunder came back to beat Tulsa 5-3 on Tuesday night at the Kansas Coliseum.

Trailing 3-1 late in the third, Duda and Daniel Tetrault scored 1:23 apart to tie the game. Duda's goal was his 313th, moving him past former Thunder star Paul Jackson for third place in CHL history. Clayton assisted on the goal for his 500th career CHL assist.

In the third, Wichita got goals from Clayton and Brad Thompson, who has cored four of his eight goals this season versus Tulsa. Bill Zaniboni recorded the win despite leaving the game with 21 second left after being run by Tulsa's Steve Jensen.

The Thunder return to action this weekend with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Youngstown SteelHounds.
