WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder fell 4-2 to the Arizona Sundogs on Tuesday night at the Kansas Coliseum.
The Thunder turned a 3-0 deficit into a one-goal game, before Arizona's Karl Sellan scored on an empty net with 26 seconds left to seal the win for Arizona.
With an extra attacker in the closing minute, Wichita had a puck hit the left post before Arizona was able to clear the zone. Troy Ofukany scored the Thunder's first goal, deflecting a shot from Bryan Nathe into the net on the power play at 14:22 in the second period.
Joel Hanson cut the lead to 3-2 with another power play goal at 12:46 in the third. Ofukany and Andrew Davis picked up assists.
