Thunder Announce Changes to All-Star Roster

(Trenton, NJ)- The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, and the Eastern League, have announced some changes to the rosters for the 2009 Eastern League All-Star Game to be played in Trenton on July 15th.

For the Northern Division squad, Portland RHP T.J. Large has been promoted to Triple A (Pawtucket) and will not attend the game. Portland LHP Chris Province will be added as a replacement to take his spot on the active roster.

For the Southern Division, Erie OF Brennan Boesch is injured and will not be attending the game. Reading OF Quintin Berry will take his spot on the roster. Boesch's spot in the Yankees-Steiner Collectibles Home Run Derby will be filled by Akron C Carlos Santana.

Erie 1B Ryan Strieby is injured and will not be attending the All-Star Game. No replacement will be named to the Southern Division roster.

Harrisburg IF Leonard Davis is injured and will not be attending the game. He will be replaced by Harrisburg OF Marvin Lowrance.
