Thunder and Sea Dogs Rained out Friday

(Trenton, NJ) - Friday night's scheduled series opener between the first-place Trenton Thunder and Portland Sea Dogs has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday night beginning at 5:05 pm at Waterfront Park. Each game will be a seven-inning contest.

Tickets may be exchanged for any regular season game during the 2012 season (except August 27th) on a ticket-for-ticket basis, based on availability. Exchanges can be done at the Thunder Ticket Office beginning Saturday at 9:30am.

Left-hander Shaeffer Hall (5-6, 4.16) will throw for the Thunder in game one, while righty Ryan Pope (3-5, 5.00) will start for Trenton in the nightcap. Stolmy Pimentel (1-3, 5.16) and Anthony Ranaudo (1-2, 6.51) are scheduled to throw for Portland. Radio coverage for the entire twin bill can be heard live on 91.3 FM (WTSR) and also streaming online beginning at 4:45 pm.
