Down East Wood Ducks News Release
KINSTON, NC - The Down East Wood Ducks have released the special edition "Throwback Thursday" Kinston Indians jerseys to be worn on Thursday home games for the rest of the season. The threads honor the 25-year run of the Kinston Indians at Grainger Stadium.
The jerseys match the new scheme revealed in 2011 for the K-Tribe - their final year in Kinston. A navy cap with the signature bat and feather logo warped into a "K" will be worn on the field along with a home white top with the signature "Indians" script in red on the front, underlined by another bat with feathers wrapped on the handle.
These jerseys will debut this Thursday, May 3rd against the Buies Creek Astros. Fans will also enjoy tickets for only $5 and beer for only $1 thanks to Budweiser. Below are the dates for Throwback Thursdays for the rest of the season. All games begin at 7:00 p.m.
