AUSTIN, Texas - James White, BJ Elder and Loren Woods were announced as All-Star selections to represent the Eastern Division team in Las Vegas for the inaugural NBA D-League All Star Game on Saturday, Feb. 17.

""I am very happy for all three of them," Austin Toros head coach Dennis Johnson said. "They are all well deserving of the recognition - I'll be watching."

White, the 6'7 forward who played with the Toros while on assignment from the San Antonio Spurs, appeared in 15 games (11 starts) for the Toros and averaged 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.67 steals in 34.4 minutes. White was recalled on Jan. 27 by the San Antonio Spurs.

Elder, a 6'4 guard out of Georgia Tech, is averaging 19.4 points and 3.4 rebounds and is the second leading scorer in the NBA Development League. Woods, who was named this week's D-League Performer of the Week, has appeared in 12 games and is averaging 13.5 points and 12.5 rebounds.

The game will be held on February 17, 2007 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The game will tip off at 2 p.m. PT and be televised live on NBA TV.

The two 10-man rosters were selected by a combination of fan balloting on D-LEAGUE.com and voting of the league's 12 head coaches. Prior to the game, East head coach Sidney Moncrief (Fort Worth) and West head coach Joe Wolf (Colorado) will choose starting lineups for their respective teams.
