ROUND ROCK - After both teams put up one and two runs over consecutive frames early on, Round Rock broke out of a late tie with a three-run seventh inning that lifted the team to a second straight victory over one of the Pacific Coast League's best teams.

With the score even at 3-3 in the seventh, Tim Raines, Jr. bunted his way on, swiped second and advanced to third on a wild pitch before scoring the go-ahead run on Jason Lane's sacrifice fly to left. Danny Klassen padded the lead with a two-run blast to left field, giving the Express a 6-4 win over Albuquerque.

Chris Sampson worked two scoreless innings, walking one and locating 14 of his 24 pitches for strikes. Klassen and Mark Saccomanno each picked up three hits and Juan Gutierrez allowed two earned runs on seven hits, six strikeouts and three walks over six innings.

The Isotopes took a 1-0 lead in the first against Gutierrez and used two hit and a walk to put up a pair in the second before the Express got to work against left-hander Chris George.

Lane and Klassen put together back-to-back singles to start the third and Saccomanno singled in Round Rock's first run as part of a four-hit inning.

In the third, George picked up two quick outs before Cody Ransom drew a walk. Ransom stole second and Lane walked before Klassen punched an RBI-single up the middle making it 3-2 and forcing George from the game.

Saccomanno then singled, tying the game.

Gutierrez held Albuquerque at bay until Sampson entered for the seventh.

The two teams meet again Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. for Jeff Bagwell Bobblehead Night.
