Thorns FC Release Updated 2016 Preseason Roster

Portland Thorns FC News Release


PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC have announced their updated 2016 preseason roster as the team continues training in preparation for the second of three matches in a preseason tournament at Providence Park.

Portland plays host to Oregon State on Wednesday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) and closes out the tournament against the Houston Dash on Saturday, April 2, at 5 p.m. (Pacific).

Midfielders Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan and Allie Long and defenders Meghan Klingenberg and Emily Sonnett have left camp to join the U.S. Women's National Team in preparation for matches on April 6 and April 10.

Goalkeepers (3): Michelle Betos, Adrianna Franch, Emily Kruger*

Defenders (8): McKenzie Berryhill#, Kendall Johnson, Meghan Klingenberg, Sam Lofton*, Emily Menges, Katherine Reynolds, Emily Sonnett#, Kat Williamson

Midfielders (6): Celeste Boureille*, Dagny Brynjarsdottir, Tobin Heath, Lindsey Horan, Allie Long, Sarah Zadrazil*

Forwards (4): Nadia Nadim, Christine Sinclair, Shade Pratt*, Mana Shim

The following players are no longer in camp: Anna Maria Gilbertson.
