LEAFLETS...

-The team's next action is a week from today, next Tuesday, January 27 against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

-The St. John's Maple Leafs went 1-0-1-1 on their recent Western Division road swing.

-The Baby Leafs are 3rd in the North Division, one point behind Rochester and six behind Hamilton.

-St. John's enforcer Greg Lakovic has retired form professional hockey. Lakovic played 12 games and recorded 2 points (G,A) and had 25 PIMs.

-St. John's has 35 games remaining in their 2003-04 schedule. 20 of those games will be played at Mile One Stadium. The team is 9-7-4-0 at home this season.

WHO'S HOT...

Mikael Tellqvist: With a win and a tie last week Tellqvist improved his record to 7-5-1 record, a 2.53 GAA and a .920 save percentage.

The St. John's Maple Leafs have already completed over 80 appearances to date at various schools and community events throughtout the St. John's area.

Aaron Gavey: The team's captian has 15 points (8G,7A) in his last nine games. Gavey was recently named the Maple Leafs Player of the Week.

Josh Holden: Since returning from injury Holden is averaging a point a game. Holden has two goals and seven assists in nine games.

Nathan Barrett: Barrett is the team's hottest player of late. He is currently on a seven game point streak (6G,5A).

Harold Druken: Druken has once again found his scoring ways tallying three goals and two assists in the team's last five games.

UPCOMING OPPONENTS...

The Cleveland Barons will make their first appearance at Mile One Stadium in franchise history on January 30th and 31st.

The Hamilton Bulldogs return to Mile One Stadium January 27th and 28th. The Bulldogs lead the season series 4-1-0-0.
