Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive won big tonight defeating the Hudson Valley Renegades 8-1.
The first three innings saw no runs until the Drive got on the board thanks to Niko Kavadas' two-run homerun. The Renegades answered with a run in the fifth off an Eduardo Torrealba RBI.
Nick Northcut didn't back down and furthered the Drive's lead by smacking one out with Niko Kavadas on base.
Northcut found home again in the eighth off the bat of Antoni Flores. Then, Philip Sikes' two-run RBI helped put the game out of reach.
The Drive added one more to their six-run lead in the ninth on a sacrifice fly from Nathan Hickey.
The Drive look for another win tomorrow at 7:05 PM.
