Pensacola Pelicans News Release
Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Pelicans are gearing up for another fun and exciting season of baseball and entertainment. Fans are encouraged to come to Pelican Park to welcome back the 2009 defending South Division Champions as they kick off a seven game home series.
Friday, May 21 - Opening Night - Pelicans home opener versus the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. Game time is at 6:45 p.m. All fans in attendance will receive a Pelicans 2010 magnet schedule. Pepsi and Chevy are the sponsors of the evening.
Saturday, May 22 - Post-Game Fireworks - the Pelicans will continue the series against the Air Hogs. After the game, fans can go on the field for the spectacular post-game fireworks show sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union.
Sunday, May 23 - Kids Club Sunday - Pelicans Kids Club members get in the game for free. Membership is only $10 and will be for sale at the gate. Kids Club members receive a t-shirt and free admission to each Sunday home game. Game time is 6:05 p.m.
Monday, May 24 - Mutt Monday - All dogs on a leash are welcome to Pelican Park. The Pelicans will wrap up the series against the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. Game time is 6:45 p.m.
Tuesday, May 25 - Two-For-Tuesday - The Pelicans are starting a new promotion this year on Tuesday nights. Draft beer is available for a two-for-one purchase. The team will welcome the Fort Worth Cats, with at 6:45 p.m. start time.
Wednesday, May 26 - W.O.W. - The Pelicans invite all fans to "Win On Wednesday." The Pelicans will continue the series against the Cats. Once the game is over, fans will receive a scratch-off ticket to redeem at a future game. Everyone is a winner!
Thursday, May 27 - Thirsty Thursday - Fans can enjoy $1 drafts and fountain drinks, sponsored by Budweiser. The Pelicans conclude the home stand against the Fort Worth Cats. Game time is at 6:45 p.m.
The Pelicans provide family fun and entertainment at an affordable price. General admission tickets are only $8. Military, students, and senior citizens receive $1 off a general admission ticket. Reserved seats are available for $10-12. Children four and under are free. Group outings and season tickets are still available.
