Multiple former Storm Chasers were traded before Tuesday's trade deadline, moving on to new adventures with new teams and organizations.

Infielder Emmanuel Rivera was traded to the Diamondbacks on Monday, after spending the weekend with Triple-A Omaha in Syracuse, New York. Rivera started the season with the Storm Chasers before getting called up in late-April. On May 3, Rivera played one more game for the Storm Chasers before returning to Kansas City until getting optioned on July 29.

Catcher Cam Gallagher was traded to San Diego on Tuesday. He last spent time with Omaha in early June on an MLB rehab assignment. Gallagher has played 167 games at the Triple-A level, all with Omaha, most notably playing in 73 games in 2017 and 77 games in 2018.

Infielder Whit Merrifield was traded to Toronto on Tuesday, still holding the title of most stolen bases with Omaha in the Storm Chasers era (since 2011) with 64 stolen bases. Merrifield was on the 2014 Storm Chasers team that won the 2014 Triple-A National Championship.
