
TEXAS STARS MEDIA RELEASE - Texas Recalls Anselmini from Idaho

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced Sunday they have recalled rookie defenseman Brandon Anselmini from their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Anselmini (an-suhl-MEE-nee), 23, is on his first career call-up to the AHL after tallying 11 points in 18 games with the Steelheads (2-911) this season. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound defenseman was signed to an AHL contract over the summer after completing a four-year career at Ferris State University.
The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, and are currently playing their eighth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
