Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), take on the San Diego Gulls today at 3:00 at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Today is the second of 12 regular-season meetings between the two teams.
SoCal Series: The Reign lead this season's SoCal Series 1-0-0-0 behind a 2-0 victory over the Gulls in San Diego on October 15. All-time, the Reign are 5-6-1-1 against the Gulls and 2-2-1-1 at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Coming in Hot: The San Diego Gulls are currently riding a five-game winning streak. Forward Corey Tropp is tied for sixth in the AHL with 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) and is currently on a six-game point streak (three goals, five assists).
Familiar Faces: The Gulls' roster features former Reign skaters Jeff Schultz, Jordan Samuels-Thomas and Scott Sabourin.
