
Sabres Recall Carrier; Amerks Assign Kea to Elmira

Rochester, NY - The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has recalled forward William Carrier from the Rochester Americans (AHL).
Carrier (6'2", 212 lbs., 12/20/1994) re-joins the team after being assigned to the Amerks for the team's Saturday night game against the Albany Devils, in which he recorded an assist.
The LaSalle, Quebec native, who now has five points (3+2) in eight AHL games this season, has appeared in 11 games for the Sabres in his first NHL season, tallying one goal and 17 shots.
In a corresponding move, the Amerks have also reassigned forward Justin Kea to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
