Avalanche Reassign Goaltender Spencer Martin

SAN ANTONIO- The Colorado Avalanche announced today that goaltender Spencer Martin has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). Additionally, the Rampage announced today that goaltender Nathan Lieuwen has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

Martin, 21, has appeared in 13 games with San Antonio this season, recording an 8-5-0-0 record, .924 save percentage and 2.21 goals against average. The second-year pro is tied for the third-most wins this season, and holds the fourth-best rookie goals against average. Martin played in 18 games for the Rampage last season, registering a .921 save percentage, 2.65 goals against average, and CCM/AHL Player of the Week honors in late March.

Lieuwen, 25, recorded a .886 save percentage and 3.25 goals against average in nine contests with the Eagles. The fifth-year pro has made two appearances with the Rampage this season, registering a .792 save percentage and 3.83 goals against average.

San Antonio returns to the AT&T Center for a weekend back-to-back with the San Jose Barracuda on Saturday and Sunday. All Rampage games can be heard on Ticket 760 and SARampage.com.
