Texas Legends and ZTE USA Team up to Wipe out Kids' Cancer

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends and ZTE USA, the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the U.S. and second largest in the no-contract market,* have partnered together for the second straight year to host a charity game night benefiting Wipe Out Kids' Cancer on April 1. Proceeds of jersey sales and social media promotion will benefit the Dallas-based non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research nationwide.

From March 14 through March 29, ZTE USA and the Texas Legends are conducting a social media campaign in which ZTE USA will donate $1 to Wipe Out Kids' Cancer for each fan that shares ZTE USA's Facebook or Twitter posts that include the #ZTE4WOKC hashtag. Consumers who want to participate and help raise money for Wipe Out Kids' Cancer can find ZTE USA's Twitter handle at www.twitter.com/zte_usa and Facebook profile at www.facebook.com/zteusa.

"Last year's charity game night was a big success where we donated thousands of dollars to the Wipe Out Kids' Cancer organization, which we hope to build upon this year," said Lixin Cheng, chairman and CEO of ZTE USA. "Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a core value of ZTE. The Texas Legends, Wipe Our Kids' Cancer, and our US headquarters are located in Dallas and together are bringing positive change to our local community."

When the Legends face the Oklahoma City Thunder affiliate on April 1, players will be wearing uniquely branded jerseys celebrating Wipe Out Kids' Cancer and ZTE USA. Select jerseys will be sold in the Texas Legends' online merchandise store after the game with all proceeds going to Wipe Out Kids' Cancer. ZTE USA will present a check to Wipe Out Kids' Cancer at halftime and will also be donating a brand new ZTE Spro 2 Smart Projector.

Throughout the game, fans will have the opportunity to win ZTE products , with the first 700 fans receiving a t-shirt courtesy of ZTE USA.

The Legends will be hosting the Oklahoma City Blue in their sixth and final matchup of the season at 7pm on the 1st. The game will be broadcast live on television-Texas 47-as well as radio-kvgiradio.com-and online at www.TexLegends.com.
