Team White Finishes Training Camp with 9-7 Maroon & White Game Win

(Peterborough, ON) - The final 2019 Petes Training Camp game presented by East Side Mario's , Lansdowne Place , Pat McAuley Bowes & Cocks Real Estate , and Hybrid FHP - the annual Maroon and White game - took place on Wednesday, August 28 at the Evinrude Centre. Following the game, 14 players were reassigned.

Cameron Butler led Team White in scoring with two goals and one assist, while Semyon Der-Arguchintsev finished with three assists for Team Maroon.

"We were very impressed with the quality and level of competition of tonight's game," commented General Manager Mike Oke. "We'll continue to monitor the progress of the players we've reassigned, and will work with them and their teams on their development this season."

Training Camp will continue on Thursday, August 29 with two practices. Petes Pre-Season presented by CIBC Wood Gundy Peterborough will kick off with three games as part of the OHL's Pre-Season Showcase in Kitchener on Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1.
