Otters Reduce Roster to 28 Ahead of Preseason

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie Otters have released another 13 players from their training camp roster to be returned to their respective teams' rosters and will carry 28 players into the exhibition schedule.

Five of the cuts made were members of Erie's 2019 OHL Priority Selection class, including: Thomas Lonsdale, Wil Murphy, Connor Olson (U18 Priority Selection), Frank Tafelski, and Benjamin White. Two of the releases represented Erie's 2018 Priority Selection class with Logan Maunder and Ethan Ritchie released from camp.

The remaining six players released were free agent invites to training camp: Tanner Daniels, Matt Duarte, Colin Elliott, Liam Galton, Tanner McEachern, and Kurt Watson.

The Otters will kick off their preseason schedule with two exhibition games over Labor Day weekend at the Erie Insurance Arena. The team will host the Hamilton Bulldogs over the weekend starting Saturday, August 31st at 7 p.m. and then again Sunday, September 1st at 2 p.m. The Otters preseason roster can be found

here. Fans can purchase a weekend pass good for both games starting at $15 for adults and $10 for children (ages 12 and under), with individual exhibition game prices starting at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Single game tickets for the 2019-20 season are on sale now.
