Tulsa Oilers News Release

The Tulsa Oilers are used to battling for loose pucks and battling for goals in front of the opposition net. On Friday November 26th, they are going to lend a hand to thousands of others fighting a more serious battle.

On Friday November 26th, the Oilers will have their annual "Pink in the Rink" night presented by TD Williamson to benefit breast cancer patients and agencies who support them. That night the Oilers face the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:35 at the BOK Center.

The evening will feature the Oilers skating in special jerseys that will be auctioned immediately after the game in the Oneok Club (behind section 110 at the BOK Center).

The Tulsa fire department station five is also lending a hand with a special pink fire engine five that will be on display at 3rd and Denver. During the game, firefighters will be "passing the boot" for donations to the fight against breast cancer.

For every $12 ticket sold, $5 will be earmarked to benefit breast cancer organizations. Agencies benefitting from the Pink in the Rink night include Oklahoma Project Woman; Young Survival Coalition Tulsa; Breast Impressions; and Breast Cancer Assistance Program.

Tickets for TD Williamson Pink in the Rink Night and all Oiler games are available at the BOK Box Office, Tickets.com, Tulsa area Reasor's stores, and by calling 1-866-7BOK-CTR (866-725-5287). More information is available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
