Sundogs Place Two More on Injured Reserve

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Arizona Sundogs Head Coach and General Manager Marco Pietroniro announced today the team has placed forward Adam Smyth and defenseman Clayton Barthel on injured reserve.

Smyth, placed on 10-day I.R. retroactive to November 12, has collected two points (1g/1a) in nine games and leads the Central Hockey League in penalty minutes (97) and major penalties (7).

Barthel, activated from a two-game suspension and placed on 10-day I.R. retroactive to November 13, has tallied one assist, two penalty minutes and 14 shots in eight contests.

Other players on injured reserve include goaltender Bobby Jarosz and forwards Jason Visser and Torren Delforte. Joel Irving, also inactive, has been granted a leave of absence by the league.
