JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Florida Marlins have made a transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to this afternoon's game against the Jackson Generals at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

Left-handed starting pitcher Graham Taylor has been reinstated to the active Suns roster from the disabled list. Taylor was placed on the disabled list on July 30 with a left hamstring strain. Taylor is 2-5 this season with a 4.12 ERA in 20 games and 16 starts for Jacksonville, and hasn't pitched since his injury that was suffered while running the bases during a start against Carolina on July 29 at Five County Stadium.

Taylor will start today's season finale against the Jackson Generals at the Baseball Grounds.

The Suns roster now stands at 24, and a revised roster is attached.

The Suns and Generals will play the season finale on Monday afternoon at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Right-handed pitcher Yoervis Medina (0-0, 3.26 ERA) will pitch for Jackson while the Taylor will pitch for the Suns. Kids are invited to run the bases after the game presented by Captain D's. Monday's game will start at 3:05 p.m. ET, and fans can listen to the contest beginning at 2:50 p.m. with the U.F. & Shands Pregame Show on Jacksonville's WFXJ AM 930 the Fox and www.jaxsuns.com.
