
Rainout Ends Regular Season

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Monday's scheduled doubleheader between the BayBears and Huntsville Stars has been canceled because of rain at Joe Davis Stadium.
The BayBears (84-54) finish the regular season with the best overall record in the Southern League and the second-most victories in franchise history, falling just two short of the club record.
The BayBears will take Tuesday off before a workout at Hank Aaron Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in preparation of game one of the South Division Championship Series which begins on Thursday night from Regions Park against the Birmingham Barons (71-69) at 7:05.
The Second Half South Division Champion BayBears will host game three of the South Division Championship Series on Saturday, September 10 at 7:05 p.m. against the Birmingham Barons with fireworks and a 9/11 tribute following the ballgame.
