Tampa Bay Sends Four Players to Hershey

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Tampa Bay Lightning that four players have been assigned to Hershey from Tampa Bay's camp in Brandon, Florida. Left Wing Evgeni Artukhin (ar-TOO-ken), center Ryan Craig, left wing Jean-Francois Soucy, and defenseman Gerard Dicaire have been assigned and are expected to report in time for the start of BEARS training camp on Sunday.

HERSHEY will open training camp for the club's 66th AHL season on Monday, September 29. Tickets for both home exhibition games on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 will be $7. As in previous years, all parking will be free for both the Saturday game against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Sunday's game with Binghamton.

The BEARS open up the home portion of the 2003-04 season on Saturday, October 18th at GIANT Center. Season ticket information is available by calling 520-5796. Several different season ticket plans are available. Group ticket information for the October 18th home opener and all Bears home games is available by calling 534-3323. Ticket information is also available for the NHL exhibition game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Islanders on Thursday, October 2nd at GIANT Center.
