Players Report to Norfolk Tomorrow

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals announced today that players will report to Norfolk for the start of pre-season practices and workouts tomorrow, Thursday, September 25.

Joining those players signed by the Admirals to an AHL contract or on assignment to Norfolk by the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL), are invitees Ryan Annesley, Adam Elzinga, Olivier Fillion, Ty Jones, Mark McRae, Bobby Russell, Mike Torney and Jason Wolfe. A preliminary roster follows.

Tomorrow's practice is currently scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Practices at Norfolk Scope are open to the public. Dates and times are subject to change.

The Admirals begin the season at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (Pittsburgh) on Wednesday, October 8 at 7:05 p.m., and their first home games of '03-04 are Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 against Albany (New Jersey) at 7:30 p.m. Among the festivities planned for that weekend are the raising of Norfolk's Division Championship banner, a tailgate party on Scope's plaza and magnetic schedule and John Brophy bobblehead giveaways.
