TUKWILA, WASH. - After a 4-0 home victory over Timbers2 on September 4, Tacoma Defiance (12-5-8, 49 points) hosts Earthquakes II (9-9-7, 39 points) tonight at Starfire Stadium (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV). The two sides played to a 1-1 draw earlier this year on June 11 at PayPal Park, with Earthquakes II winning the ensuing shootout.
Tacoma locked up the Pacific Division and a playoff berth with last week's win, and sits in second place in the Western Conference with 49 points with three matches left to play. Colorado Rapids 2 has earned the top spot in the Western Conference, currently at 60 points with two matches left to play.
Following tonight's contest, Defiance hits the road for the final time this season, traveling to face Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium on Friday, September 15 (7:00 p.m. PT / Apple TV).
