KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced roster moves heading into this afternoon's game, adding Gus Milner and Devin Goodwin.

Milner, who started the season on the Inactive List, has been activated, and will be in the lineup tonight in centerfield. To make room for Milner, Kala Ka'aihue has been placed on the 7-day disabled list.

The Philadelphia Phillies drafted Milner, a former Olathe (Kan.) North and University of Kansas standout, in the 14th round. He reached class AAA with the Phillies' organization in 2009. He spent the past two seasons with fellow American Association team, Sioux Falls, where he hit .300 with 194 hits and 29 stolen bases in 172 games.

Goodwin, 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds from Russellville, Ala., was a 33rd round draft pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2009. He spent two seasons with the Cardinals' single-A teams in Batavia, Quad Cities and Palm Beach.

Goodwin, who bats right and throws right, batted .256 with 10 home runs, 65 runs batted in and he scored 75 runs during his two seasons with the St. Louis organization.

He will be in uniform tonight for the T-Bones as they wrap up a four-game series against the New Jersey Jackals.

To make room for Goodwin on the 23-man roster, the T-Bones have placed infielder Aric Weinberg on irrevocable waivers to give him his unconditional release.
