
T-Birds Showcase Appearance To Be Featured On NBA TV

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Dec. 30, 2009 - NBA TV, the League's 24 hour network, will feature seven live game broadcasts of the 2010 NBA Development League Showcase, which tips off on Monday, Jan. 4th and runs through Thursday, Jan. 7th. Both of the Albuquerque Thunderbirds games will be featured.
The T-Birds will take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday, Jan. 4th at 11:00 am MST. The T-Birds will also play the Tulsa 66ers on Thursday, Jan. 7th at 1:45 pm MST.
The sixth annual NBA D-League Showcase will take place at Qwest Arena, home of the Idaho Stampede, in Boise, Idaho, and will include all 16 NBA D-League teams, each playing 2 games. The event provides exposure for NBA D-League players and coaches to general managers, player personnel executives, and scouts from each of the 30 NBA teams at one convenient location.
The Thunderbirds return to Tingley Coliseum on Jan. 9th, when they host the Reno Bighorns. The game will begin at 7:00 pm.
