
Armor Re-Acquire Milligan, Release Billbe

SPRINGFIELD, MA Dec. 30, 2009 - The Springfield Armor today announced that the team has re-acquired former UMass forward Dante Milligan. Milligan started the season with the Armor but was waived due to a a broken nose he suffered during a game against the Maine Red Claws at home on December 5th. Since then, he has had surgery to repair the damage and is fully healed. Milligan will rejoin the Armor in time for Friday's game against the Iowa Energy.
"Dante is a very talented individual and we are very glad that he was able to heal so quickly and get back on the court" said Head Coach and Director of Basketball Operations, Dee Brown. "He started this season with us, and we are excited to get him back on the roster."
To make room for Milligan on the roster, Springfield waived Brayden Billbe. "Brayden is a great athlete and understands this team. We were lucky to have a player with his skills help us out during this time" Brown said. Springfield will take on the Iowa Enegy this Friday evening at 7 p.m. and the Erie BayHawks at Noon on Saturday at the MassMutual Center.
