
T-Birds Gain Point in Wild Card Race in Overtime Loss to Tips

EVERETT, March 2, 2019 - The Seattle Thunderbirds are now six points ahead of the Kamloops Blazers for the final wild card playoff spot in the Western Conference after losing 1-0 in overtime to the Everett Silvertips Saturday night at Angel of the Winds Arena.
Seattle entered the game against Everett five points ahead of the Blazers and gained a point by getting the game to overtime. The Blazers lost 5-4 to the Vancouver Giants Saturday. The Blazers and Giants play Sunday at the Langley Events Center. The Blazers have a game in hand on the T-Birds.
The T-Birds play the Tri-City Americans at 5:05 pm Sunday at accesso ShoWare Center.
Everett's Bryce Kindopp scored the game winning goal with under a second left in overtime.
Seattle goalie Roddy Ross had a stellar game making 40 saves.
Everett goalie Dustin Wolf had 32 saves.
Single game tickets are on sale online on the T-Birds website and at the accesso ShoWare Center box office.
The T-Birds are now taking orders for Flex-24 Ticket packages. Fans that purchase the 24-Flex Ticket Package will be able to select any available premium seat for any game, in any ticket combination, during the 2018-19 season.
