
Szabolcs Schön Named to Hungary EURO 2020 Squad

Frisco, Texas - FC Dallas winger Szabolcs Schön has been named to Hungary's 26-man roster by head coach Marco Rossi for the 2020 UEFA European Championship running June 11-July 11.
The Hungarian National Team will have two international friendly matches prior to the start of the tournament against Cyprus (June 4) and Ireland (June 8).
Schön, 20, signed a three-year contract with FC Dallas with club options for the 2024 and 2025 season. He joined FC Dallas after spending the past couple seasons with Hungarian first-division MTK Budapest, where he scored 16 goals and recorded 10 assists in 61 appearances across all competitions. Schön made his MLS debut in the 1-1 draw against Texas Derby rival Houston Dynamo FC on May 8, playing the final 24 minutes of the match.
Schön has been called up to represent the Hungarian National Team at various youth levels since 2014.
Hungary was drawn to Group F along with Portugal, France and Germany. Hungary will host Portugal on June 15 and France on June 19 at Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary for the first two group stage matches and faces Germany on June 23 at Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany for the final group stage match.
