
Syracuse Crunch Sign Forwards Olivier Archambault, Stephen MacAulay

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch have signed forwards Olivier Archambault and Stephen MacAulay to professional tryout contracts, Crunch general manager Julien BriseBois announced today.
Archambault, 24, has skated in 12 games with the San Jose Barracuda this season, earning two goals and three assists. He also posted 31 points and a plus-12 rating in 19 games with the Allen Americans of the ECHL. His 13 goals with the Americans are tied for second on the team. Last season, the 6-foot, 190-pound forward appeared in 35 contests for the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL, totaling 16 goals and eight assists.
The Le Gardeur, Quebec native has played in 52 career AHL games with the Barracuda, Iowa Wild and Hamilton Bulldogs accumulating 16 points (7g, 9a) and 37 penalty minutes. He has totaled 145 points (71g, 74a) in 142 career ECHL contests with the Americans, Stingrays, Quad City Mallards and Alaska Aces.
MacAulay, 25, has skated in 39 games with the Florida Everblades of the ECHL this season, posting 40 points and a plus-16 rating. He leads the Everblades with 20 goals and is second with 20 assists. During the 2016-17 season, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound forward appeared in 23 games with Everblades, tallying 19 points (10g, 9a). He also played in 39 contests with the Springfield Thunderbirds, recording two goals and four assists.
The Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia native has notched eight total points (3g, 5a) in 47 career AHL games for the Thunderbirds and Bulldogs. He has appeared in 74 career ECHL games with the Everblades and the Wheeling Nailers, earning 61 points (30g, 31a) to go along with 53 penalty minutes.
