The Syracuse Chiefs look forward to an exciting celebration of Father's Day at the ballpark this Sunday. Fathers, sons, daughters, and the whole family are welcome at NBT Bank Stadium for the Chiefs' 1:05 game against the Buffalo Bisons to celebrate Dad.

The pregame Father's Day brunch in the Hank Sauer Room has officially been sold out. However, fans can still participate in multiple activities during and after the game. Actor, author and speaker Dwier Brown, who played Ray Kinsella's father in the classic film Field of Dreams, will be on hand to appear at the brunch and sign autographs on the concourse during the game.

Father's Day is a Family Sunday, meaning kids 12 and under are free and can run the bases after the game. In addition, kids can play catch with their dads on the field after the game. This will mark the last scheduled day in which families can play catch on the NBT Bank Stadium field this season.

"We are so excited to celebrate Father's Day at NBT Bank Stadium," said Chiefs general manager Jason Smorol. "Baseball is synonymous with fathers enjoying a game with the whole family. What better way could there be to spend the day than at a Chiefs game?"

Gates open at 12 p.m. before the 1:05 p.m game against the Bisons. Tickets for Sunday's events and all other Chiefs games are available and can be purchased online at syracusechiefs.com, by calling 315-474-7833 or by visiting the NBT Bank Stadium ticket office during regular business hours.
