Switchbacks FC Release Full Promotional Calendar for 2023

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced today it had released their full 2023 promotional schedule.

The promotional calendar includes all theme nights and giveaways for the 2023 home schedule. Every home game for the 2023 season comes with a theme and a corresponding giveaway item, and every match this season will end with a fantastic fireworks show!

March 18th is our home opener, and we're kicking off with a St. Patrick's Day theme. Our title sponsor for the game, Weidner Apartment Homes, will be giving away Switchbacks t-shirts. We'll be 'going green' on April 22nd as we celebrate Earth Day with a reusable bag giveaway. June 2nd we have a perennial favorite as the team takes to the stars for our Galactic Night, lightsabers courtesy of Centura Health. Cinco de Mayo marks an opportunity to celebrate and our partners at Diversus Health will be heading our bucket hat giveaway.

July 1st kicks off our 4th of July weekend, and our friends at Phil Long are giving away ball caps to the first fans in the gates. Our 4th of July match will have our Fireworks Extravaganza, which for several years has been recorded as the largest show in Southern Colorado! For our July 14th match, we'll be celebrating the Women's U.S National Team as they fight for the World Cup with our Club and Country Night including a scarf giveaway from Fox News.

Our August matches will celebrate all our pint sized fans with our Pirates and Princess Nights on the 4th, where Colorado Children's Hospital will be giving away pirate hats and magic wands, and Back to School night August 9th, as GE Johnson gives some backpacks just in time for the year to start. The Switchbacks will celebrate diversity in all its shapes, sizes and colors with our 'Soccer For All' night on September 2nd, and will help raise awareness for Mental Health Advocacy on September 30th, with a specialty jersey available for auction.

Another popular event, Superhero Night, takes place on September 9th, as we honor our first responders here in Colorado Springs. Our final home match of the regular season will be October 15th, and we're rounding out the season with our Sea of Cyan Night - we want to turn Weidner Field into a 'Wave of Cyan'!
