New Mexico United Announces Signing of Polish Phenom Michael Wyparlo

New Mexico United News Release
Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United is excited to announce the signing of Polish-American midfielder Michael Wyparlo. The teenager joins United on a transfer from Stal Mielec of the Ekstraklasa - Poland's first division. He made his top division debut last season, and played in the Fortuna Poland Cup - the nation's top domestic cup competition.
Wyparlo was born in New York to Polish parents, and raised in Poland. He has trained with the U-20 National Team in Poland. His father - Boguslaw Wyparlo - also played in the Ekstraklasa, as a goalkeeper making over 600 appearances in 16 seasons. He is now a goalkeeper coach at Stal Mielec.
