The Switchbacks FC took on the Real Monarchs SLC for the fourth time this season. Tonight, they came off with another win, beating the Real Monarchs SLC 2-1. This is Switchbacks FC's sixth home win in a row.

"When we started the week, I gave the guys the goal of getting nine points, and they did just that tonight,"Â said Switchbacks FC Head Coach Steve Trittschuh. "They dug down deep and did a good job."
The scoring came early at Sand Creek Stadium. In the 11th minute, the Switchbacks FC's Miguel Gonzalez (#10) got his foot on a deflected ball and buried it in the back of the net from 20 yards out.
Then Switchbacks FC's Shin Harada (#21) got his chance, and took a shot from 30 yards thanks to a great set up by Luke Vercollone (#4).
